![]() These highly pigmented, lightfast India Inks are totally waterproof when dry. Martins Bombay India Ink offers powerful, permanent color in a glass bottle with a convenient dropper stopper cap. Would definitely purchase again in the future. Skip to the beginning of the images gallery. I can definitely see this lasting me a long time. Overall, great purchase and it is relatively cheap! I been drawing a lot with it and hasn't made much of a dent. Sometimes I get some lines that are lighter or darker on some areas of my pieces because the pigment isn't fully mixed in but the affects are nice so it doesn't bother me much. I do recommend to shake the bottle before use since most of the pigment rests at the bottom. I also like that I can mix a little but of water to dilute the ink yet when it dries it is still water resistant. This ink has done wonders! I like the consistency of the ink that it flows nicely without drying up too fast that I have to continuously dip my brush for more ink. ![]() I know some watercolorist line their piece last but it isn't the way I like to draw so it was difficult finding the right ink. ![]() I like to sketch then ink my piece and then color it. ![]() I have tried other inks, but most inks I purchased were water "resistant" but still smeared or bled when I painted over it with watercolors. Since I use watercolor paper, especially cold-press paper, it eats away at the nib and sucks up the ink really fast. I been looking for new ways to ink my watercolor pieces and this seemed to work the best! I have used sakura microns, and other types of waterproof ink pens. ![]()
